The De Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine, two-seat World War II military aircraft which entered service in 1941 and was one of the fastest service aircraft in the world at the time and so it would use its blistering speed as protection rather than on-board gunners and heavy armour. It was produced in various versions and quickly became a universal aircraft capable of long flights and was used in several roles such as, Light Bomber, Fighter-Bomber, Night Fighter and Photo-Reconnaissance. Regarded as one of the most successful fighter-bombers used during World War II, it was hailed as a wooden wonder by RAF pilots. Although the Mosquito was a modern machine, it was mainly made of spruce wood, plywood and balsa and covered with canvas! The Mosquito was famously used in daytime, low-level, high speed raids on Germany and many other targets, such as the famous raid on Gestapo headquarters located in Oslo, Norway.

Built completely from scratch on a 1:32 scale, the model consists of 710 high-quality COBI construction blocks. The model has many moving parts such as rotating wheels with rubber tires, moving propellers and ailerons. In the cabin you can place the pilot figure included in the set! The blocks have been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. This is a great model for all aviation enthusiasts. Thanks to the faithfully reproduced proportions and details of the aircraft, the model will be a great decoration for any collection of young or adult enthusiasts of history and aviation. The whole set is completed with a display stand, a bomb and a brick with the model name printed on it.
