The Fiat G.55 Centauro was one of the most important Italian fighters during World War II. Its advanced design and good performance made it a dangerous opponent in air combat. The plane was appreciated by both Italian pilots and opponents who had to fight it. It first flew in 1942 and was considered one of the best fighters produced by Italy at the time.

It was powered by a German Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, which gave it good speed and manoeuvrability. Armed with cannons and machine guns, the G.55 stood out for its superior performance at high altitudes. Although its production was limited, it gained the respect of both Italian and German pilots.

The model has camouflage from the theater of operations in the Mediterranean basin. The emblems of the Italian air force are presented with durable and indelible prints.
